Predictive Behavioral Targeting system was created on the basis of innovative technology supplied by German based company nugg.ad. Thanks to cooperation with Fraunhofer Institue nugg.ad became a leader in behavioral targeting and supplies with solutions companies all around the globe.

Predictive Behavioral Targeting is based on the behavioral profiles of all internet users. Such profiles are created in three steps. In the first one system is examining the content of all visited pages through gathering cookie files. Afterwards randomly chosen users are polled about their interests and demographic data.

Gathered data is being processed in the real-time and projected on the rest of internet users. Thanks to the representative sample it is possible to estimate the whole population. 

This assumption is based on the psychological study, which indicates that people behaving in the similar way, have also similar characteristics.

It is necessary to mention that Predictive Behavioral Targeting doesn’t violate the privacy of internet users, because the processed data doesn’t contain any personal or other vulnerable data.
